Under clear blue sunny skies, the 33rd annual Vancouver Pride Parade proceeded through the streets of downtown Vancouver on Sunday, July 31, 2011. Over 640,000 spectators were expected to line the parade route.

The 2011 Vancouver Pride Parade was hosted by Vancouver’s popular entertainer, drag queen Joan-E. This year there were over 150 entries including local community groups, businesses, politicians, corporate partners, and LGBT supporters.
