Taverna 750, Chicago
A wonderful dining experience awaits at Taverna 750, in the heart of Boystown, in downtown Chicago. This new hotspot is a tribute to owner Paul Cannella’s grandfather, who had owned an Italian restaurant on Grand Avenue back in the 40’s and 50’s.
The 44 seat restaurant serves up traditional Italian favourites inspired by Paul’s grandfather’s original recipes, with contemporary hints of European influence. The small plates are served family style, so everyone gets to enjoy. Most of the items on the menu are reasonably priced.
What makes Taverna 750 particularly exciting is they make homemade lemon, orange and grapefruit cello’s and feature amazing hand-crafted drinks. The fresh ingredients really make their spirits stand out.
If you get a chance to visit in the summer, go for the street-side patio. The servers are incredibly friendly too
Taverna 750 is located at 750 W. Cornelia and is open for brunch, dinner and late-night.
