Whipped Cream Pie Martini
If you can’t be in the Caribbean for New Years Eve, bring a hint of the tropics to your party! The Whipped Cream Pie Martini is like a tropical vacation in your glass.
- 2 oz Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
- 1 oz Coconut Rum
- 1 oz Half & Half
Pour all three ingredients into a martini shaker half filled with ice. Shake until the shaker begins to frost. Pour into a martini glass and top with whipped cream and shredded coconut.
Orange Cream Soda Splash
It’s been a fun year sharing all kinds of cocktails and martinis as part of Cocktail of the Week. For the final week of 2012, it’s time to celebrate and go out with a bang! Today’s Cocktail of the Week drink features are dedicated to ringing in the new year, On Top! Make your New Years Eve extra special by making your New Years Eve party guests these fun drinks.
- 2 oz Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
- 1 oz Pink Grapefruit Juice
- 4 oz Orange Pop
Fill a highball glass with ice. Pour in Pinnacle Whipped Vodka, pink grapefruit juice and then the orange pop. Garnish with an orange and cherry .
Christmas Cranberry Juleps

Part of the enjoyment over the holiday season is entertaining friends and family. They love being surprised with special treats. With some simple preparation, this cocktail will certainly wow your guests and perhaps become a new holiday tradition.
- 1 Cup of Water
- ¾ Cup Sugar
- 2 Fresh Orange Peels
- 1 Cup Fresh Cranberries
- 1 Cup Canadian Whisky
- 8 Springs Fresh Mint
In a saucepan, heath water, sugar, orange peel and cranberries. Cook until cranberries being to pop. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Refrigerate in sterile container until cold. Strain cranberry syrup through a sieve into a sterile container, discarding solids. Store in refrigerator for up to one week.
To make, add whisky to the syrup mix. Stir well. Fill six rock glasses with ice. Pour the chilled mixture into the glasses. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.

During the holiday season there’s always a bustle of activity, rushing from one holiday party to another, doing last minute Christmas shopping and gift wrapping, and preparing to welcome guests into our homes. This year, take a few moments at the end of a long day to sit back and relax, and to enjoy a bit of peace. The tequila is an untraditional hard liquor for the holidays, but is a great way to refresh and relax after a busy day.
- 1 oz Tequila
- 1 oz Blue Curacao
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 1 oz Pineapple Juice
- Squeeze of Fresh Lime
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker full of ice. Shake well until the shaker is frosted. Pour into a cocktail glass filled with fresh ice.

Celebrations aren’t complete without a bottle of bubbly! This Christmas season, pop open a bottle of bubbly and enjoy the magic of the holidays with friends and family. This classic holiday favourite is simple and easy to make, and is a crowd pleaser. It’s best served using a quality brut. Perfect for an afternoon open house or at evening receptions. Pairs well with cheese, fresh fruit, and nuts.
- 0.5 oz Triple Sec
- 2 oz 100% Cranberry Juice
- Champagne
Pour cranberry juice and triple sec into a chilled champagne flute or wine glass. Add champagne.
Holiday Bliss

Do you ever get the feeling over the holiday’s when you know everything is just perfect? Like when you’re sitting around the tree on Christmas day, telling stories with friends and family. Usually there’s wine, Bailey’s or champagne involved. This year, mix it up a bit. Have some fun. Try a new tradition. This cocktail is sweet and has a refreshing natural taste from the rosemary, which you probably have in the kitchen anyway from making turkey and stuffing – just add a bit to your cocktail!
- 1.5 oz Grand Marnier
- 1.5oz Cranberry Juice (from concentrate)
- 0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
- Fresh Rosemary
In a martini shaker, muddle 10-12 rosemary needles with the simple syrup. Add remaining ingredients and then add ice. Shake for about 20 seconds, until the shaker is frosted. Strain into a small rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary.
Christmas-tini

Whether you’re rock’n around the Christmas tree with friends, enjoying some yule-tide spirit with family, or just relaxing by the fire with your special someone, this Christmas-tini will get you into the holiday spirit. The sweet, syrup flavour from the raspberry liquor melds well with the hints of chocolate and vanilla flavours.
- 1 oz Vanilla Vodka
- 1 oz Creme de Cacao
- 1.5 oz Chambord
Pour all three ingredients into a martini shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a piece of candy cane.
Santa’s Sleigh

The North Pole is located in Canada. Santa lives at the North Pole. So technically, Santa is Canadian, right? Of course he is!
Just as Canadian as Santa, the Santa’s Sleigh cocktail is made with Canadian whisky, which brings this cocktail to life. The vibrant red cocktail will have you relaxing this holiday season.
- 1.5 oz Canadian Whisky
- 1.5 oz Orange Juice
- 1 Tsp Grenadine
- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
Fill a martini shaker half full of ice. Add all ingredients. Shake for 20 seconds. Pour into a chilled Old Fashioned glass.
Winter Storm

In the winter in Canada, sometimes the ice and snow gets so cold that is has a blue hugh. The Winter Storm cocktail will chill you to the bone, and then warm you up. It’s a fun, easy to make cocktail, perfect for the Christmas season.
- 1 oz Citrus Vodka
- 1 oz Blue Curaçao
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 1 oz Lime Juice

Mistletoe Martini

Maybe if you and someone you have your eye on have enough of these, it could lead to a special kiss under the mistletoe. It’s a sweet and sour cocktail, perfect for an afternoon or early evening cocktail reception.
- Juice from 1/2 Fresh Squeezed Lemon
- 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 oz Chilled Cranberry Steeped Tea
- 0.5 oz Orange Juice
- 2 oz Vodka
Fill a martini shaker half full of ice. Add all ingredients. Shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a sugar rimmed martini glass.
Sparkle Berry Martini

The perfect cocktail for a festive holiday party. It’s certain to impress with translucent red liquid and red sugar rim.
- 2 oz Raspberry Vodka
- 1 oz Cranberry Juice
- 1/4 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz Honey Syrup
Fill a martini shaker half full of ice. Add vodka, juices and honey syrup (one part honey and one part hot water whisked together). Shake for 20 seconds. Pour into a martini glass rimmed with red sugar crystals. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
Mrs. Clause Martini

What makes Santa happy throughout the year? Mrs. Clause! This holiday season, you can enjoy a lil’ Mrs. Clause too. Get your mind out of the gutter!
- 2 oz raspberry vodka
- Dash of Creme de Menthe
- 2 1/2 oz Cranberry Juice
Fill a martini shaker with ice. Add in vodka, creme de menthe and cranberry juice. Shake hard for about 20 seconds. Pour into a martini shaker rimmed with crushed candy cane.
Chocolate Cherry Cordial

Just like the box of chocolate covered cordial cherries… but better! What makes this drink sparkle is the chocolate rim and the maraschino cherry garnish.
- 1 oz Vanilla Vodka
- 0.75 oz Kirsch
- 0.75 oz Amaretto
- 0.5 oz Crème de Cacao
Fill a martini shaker with ice. Add all ingredients. Shake vigorously. Pour into a chilled martini glass rimmed with cocoa. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
Cherry Candy Cane Martini

12 Drinks of Christmas – Day 1
First cocktail up is the Cherry Candy Cane. This martini has hints of mint and cherry. The candy-coated rim is a fun treat that wraps the whole cocktail together.
- 1 oz Vanilla Vodka
- 0.5 oz Peppermint Schnapps
- 0.75 oz Kirsch
- 2 oz Club Soda
Fill a martini shaker half-full of ice. Add vodka, peppermint schnapps and kirsch. Shake hard until the shaker begins to frost. Pour into a chilled martini glass rimmed with crushed candy cane. Add club soda.
Spiced Hot Toddy
Nothing says the holiday’s like eggnog. On a cold winter evening, warm yourself up with one of these special spiced toddy’s. The Revel Stoke spiced whisky with the sweetness of the honey will make you melt. It’s fast and super easy to make.
- 1 oz Hot Eggnog
- 2 oz Revel Stoke Whisky
- 1 tsp Honey
Pour into a cocktail mug. Swirl with a cinnamon stick.
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
Everyone’s favourite reindeer is without a doubt, Rudolph. His big red nose, shining bright, helped Santa deliver all the presents to boys and girls around the world. Well, after a few of these cocktails, you’ll probably get a big red nose and hopefully be generous with Christmas spirit.
- 1 oz Canadian Club Classic 12
- 2 oz Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
- Tonic Water
- Grenadine
Shake and pour over ice in a highball glass. Top with tonic water and add a touch of grenadine.
Frosty the Snowman
This Frosty the Snowman has the warmest heart. So warm in fact that it’ll make you warm inside too… especially after all the rum and eggnog. It’s rich, creamy and just the right ingredients. It’s the perfect Christmas drink to get you in the mood.
- 1 1/2 oz Spiced Rum
- 1 oz Creme de Cacao
- 3 oz Eggnog
- 3/4 cup Vanilla Ice Cream
Blend all four ingredients until smooth. Pour into a glass rimmed with gingerbread cookie crumbs. Drizzle on a few drops of Creme de Menthe.
Season’s Greetings Martini
This is it! The kick-off to the festive holiday season. For the next month every weekend will be spent celebrating the season. This is a simple martini that is easy to make and will impress any guest at your party. Enjoy the holiday season responsibly and have fun!
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Crème De Cassis
- 3 oz Cranberry Cocktail
Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a sugar-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a few raspberries or cranberries, or a sprig of fresh mint.
Black Forest Manhattan
In celebration of this weeks American Thanksgiving, the New York City Macy’s Day Parade, and Black Friday, the Black Forest Manhattan seemed to wrap up all three events into one happy package! It’s reminiscent of a traditional Black Forest chocolate cake, loaded with cherries! This cocktail appears by the directions to be complicated, but it’s really quite simple to make. It’s fun, bold and creative. Give it a try; you’ll love it!
Cherry Syrup:
- ¼ cup sour cherry juice
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup Kirsch
In a saucepan, boil cherry juice and granulated sugar. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Stir in Kirsch. Pour into sterilized glass jar and chill overnight.
Chocolate Rim:
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder and superfine sugar.
Rim the Martini Glass:
Pour some of the cherry syrup into a wide, shallow bowl. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the juice. Pour the chocolate rim mixture onto a plate. Dip the martini glass rim into the cocoa mixture to create a thin chocolate ring.
Make the Cocktail:
- 3 oz Canadian Club 12 Years Classic Aged Whisky
- ¾ oz cherry syrup
- ½ oz Crème de Cacao
Fill a cocktail shaker ¾ full of ice. Add whisky, cherry syrup and crème de cacao. Shake well. Pour into chocolate rimmed martini glass. Garnish with cherry.
