Once arriving to your filming location remember to turn your phone to vibrate and leave it securely locked up with the rest of your belongings. There’s no need to have your phone with you. It will just distract you and the others on set.

“I’m not really a size queen, so I’m not going to day a big cock,” said Travis as he described what makes a good top. “I would say really good kissing and holding tight.”

So what does Travis think a good bottom is?

“It’s more than just laying there,” Travis explained. “You have to get into it. Be clean.”

With his friends by his side, embracing his career decision, Chase has yet to bring his entire family on board.

“My dad said it’s my life and he will support me no matter what,” Chase explained. “My mom I have not told yet.”

Although Chase has not sat down with his mom to explain to her his career choice, she has seen photos of him on the Internet. It’s only a matter of time until she learns the truth.

“I am very happy that I decided to try out this industry,” Chase explained.

HIV is primarily spread through unprotected sexual contact including anal, vaginal and oral sex. HIV is not spread through closed mouth kissing or casual contact like holding hands or hugging. Saliva, tears or sweat have not been shown to be a cause of HIV infection.

Today, more than half of all new infections are among men who have sex with men; coincidentally is also the only risk group for which new infections are on the rise according to Greater Than AIDS.

There is no vaccine to prevent HIV, nor is there a cure for those who are already infected. There are medications to help people with HIV to live longer and healthier lives.

The US Centre of Disease Control and Prevention recommends sexually active gay and bisexual men to get tested at least once a year. Other health professionals suggest more frequently. It’s best to talk to your doctor. Specifically ask to be tested for HIV and STI’s. The only way to know for sure is to be tested.

It can take as long as three to six months after exposure for antibodies to be measurable in an HIV test. During this time you could test negative for HIV but still be infected and be able to transmit the virus to others.

“It’s hard to be in relationships,” said Dayton. “Really its annoying.”

Both partners need to have a clear understanding of roles, expectations and know when to leave jealousy behind.

Dayton wants people to know he is just a regular Joe like everyone else.

“I’m a very real and honest person,” said Dayton. “I encourage everyone to be so. Everyone has flaws and I don’t try to hide mine.”

When it comes to his biggest personal achievements, Dayton explained, “not losing my small town sensibility and growing as a person while challenging myself to break the mold.”

Dayton recalls the time when his family and hometown friends learned he was in porn.

“Some local ‘straight guy’ found it. Once that happened the whole town knew what I had been up to.”

Dayton’s family was not upset from him not telling them. Today, they don’t talk a lot about the details of his work; they choose not to talk about it at any great length.

“They love when I win awards,” Dayton laughed. “And when I am in magazines I send my mom the tasteful pictures.”

The hardest part for Dayton was telling people, even people he didn’t want to know, for fear they would only judge him from just his work in the industry, and not all his other accomplishments, achievements and his personality.

• Don’t sell yourself short; some studios toss out cheap contracts hoping you’ll sign – if you’re going to sign a contract, do your research to know what the going rates are for models of your size, shape and caliber.
• You don’t always know the status of your partner, or know if you can’t trust them. Some companies do no check the status of their models.

Most agencies and studios do not force models to perform bareback. Models are usually given the choice, unless they willingly work with a studio or agency that exclusively shoots bareback scenes.

There are some models will only work with companies that have safer-sex practices and policies. It is the models personal decision, not the agency or studio, if the model will perform safe or bareback.

There are a few agencies and studios almost exclusively only produce bareback porn.

Some people find bareback porn offensive, unsafe and irresponsible. There is also a negative stigma because of the risk.

Not all agencies require models to get tested prior to a shoot; however, they are required to sign a waiver releasing the agency from any consequences, including the transmission of STI’s or HIV.

Unfortunately Jessy was not careful and contracted the HIV virus three years ago. He does not know whom he got it from; however, he does not hold any anger against the person who infected him.

Jessy carefully monitors his condition with regular check-ups. Today’s advance in the treatment of AIDS allows him to continue to lead a regular, healthy lifestyle.

When it comes to practicing safe sex, Jessy said, “I respect people who pay attention. It’s personal and up to you.”

Jessy Karson fans watch-out… Jessy’s on the prowl to find Mr. Right! The 24 year old bad-ass gay porn star has big plans to settle down for a modern-day old-fashioned relationship.

“I want a house with a pool, boyfriend and a dog,” Jessy described.

“I will continue doing porn for a while,” said Jayden. “This might be the year where I make it even bigger. I have been working out a lot more.”

Jayden just wrapped up a scene with TitanMen in March and he expects that work will begin picking up again.

“I am feeling pretty good about it,” said Jayden. “It’s only a matter of time when I get to catch my break to become a make-up artist.”

So relax everyone, for at least the short term Jayden will continue to do what he enjoys as long as there are bills to pay and studios to keep him busy.

Jayden Gray, a relatively new comer in the gay porn industry, originally grew up in Iowa. He knew from an early age that he wanted to live in LA. Although he has plans to work as a professional make-up artist and photographer, he decided to give adult entertainment a try. He packed his bags and moved to California to get his career underway.

“When there’s a will, there’s a way” said 23 year old gay porn star Jayden Grey. Jayden has some great advice and words of wisdom for others who are also looking to pursue their dreams of performing on camera.

“Honestly, the key to everything is networking,” said Jayden. “I am pretty good at networking and that is one reason I have done so well here in LA. I don’t give up. I keep trying until I success and accomplish things I want to do.”

It’s important when you are working with agents and studios to understand what will be expected of you and what you are comfortable with. Read your contracts carefully and don’t commit to things that go against your morals.

“The hardest part about getting into [porn] is getting studios to notice you,” Jayden explained. “Honestly most people recognize me from being on College Dudes [formerly known as CollegeDudes247].”

Jayden wasn’t really well known in the industry until his move to San Diego when he filmed his first full DVD, Jayden Grey’s House of Sex.

The words of wisdom from Jayden keep on coming. After the HIV and aids crisis in the 80’s and 90’s some studios changed their policies to only practice safer sex. When talking to agents and studios, ask about their policies, screening methods and safer-sex practices.

“Remember to use your better judgment when having sex,” said Jayden. “It’s ok to say no if you don’t want to do something you don’t want to do. It’s your responsibility to make sure you are protecting yourself. Save a life and wrap it up!”

Not all agencies and studios operate with the same level of professionalism or respect for models. Ask questions and see if you can talk to some of their other talent before you sign your contract. Jayden has first-hand experience on how working with the wrong studio can negatively impact your career.

“The negative impacts I have faced are the comments made by all the haters out there and having to deal with the most arrogant director in the industry,” said Jayden. “His attitude is just unprofessional.”

If you get into a negative situation, remember to be strong and stay focused. Respect yourself and others will respect you.

“I have made some poor choices in my life and it’s OK because everyone is allowed to fuck-up,” explained Jayden. “Nobody is perfect. Well maybe ‘Imperfectly Perfect’, but that’s a word that has a totally different meaning behind it!”

Jayden also heeds the warning to be cautious on what you say and your actions.

“Some things should not be shared publically,” said Jayden. “I recently learned that it’s ok not to share everything with everyone no matter how exciting, happy, bad or dramatic it may be.”

Finally, and most importantly, don’t get caught up in gossip and stay professional.

“I am still trying my best to bite my tongue and let the comments that people make not get to me,” Jayden said, loudly echoing the words of so many of his other fellow industry friends and co-workers.
