Described as a multi-sensory dining experience, TASTE Retro Lounge opened this week in downtown Vancouver. Working with a local mixologist, they have created purposeful cocktails paired to the unique flavours of the infused menu items.

“Our vision is to quite simply create an unforgettable experience,” said TASTE Restro-Lounge executive chef, Renaldo Decembrini. “We will be using locally sourced maple serving boards, cheeses, 100% biodegradable napkins, and quality, organic ingredients whenever possible.”

The menu is based on share-plates of charcuterie platters, appetizers and a selection of mains. Options include oysters, cornmeal soft shell crab, lamb lollies, smoked beef tenderloin and seared venison. Menu items range from $9-$40.

TASTE is located at FIVESIXTY, a three-level nightclub at 560 Seymour Street in Vancouver. The Restro-Lounge has a 20 person marble table, and tables for two and four persons.
