The designers have taken great care up from to ensure maximum comfort by choosing to work with high-quality materials and attention to workmanship detail. Made from modal, the fabric is soft, lightweight, and will not shrink or fade over time. The material is also a natural fiber, which has amazing absorption properties, instantly wicking away sweat and moisture.

Great care was also put into the finishing details. The labels are heat pressed into the fabric, reducing irritation, and the pouch area is has been ergonomically designed for maximum comfort. While most of the garment has been sewn with a flat lock stitch, reducing embarrassing underwear lines and increasing comfort, there is a seems along each side which stands out every so slightly.

Lead singer for Cobra Starship, Gabriel Saporta, has enjoyed a very exciting and fast paced music career. He was the creative energy for the formation of the synthpop band, which has put out four albums since they formed in 2003.

Cobra Starship is made up of five members, including Gabe (lead vocals). The other band members are Ryland Blackinton (guitar), Victoria Asher  (keytarist), Nate Novarro (drummer), and Alex Suarez (bass).

The New York based band has released four albums and is currently signed to record label Decaydance.

Prior to founding Cobra Starship, Gabriel was the bass player and lead vocalist for the dance-punk band, Midtown. Gabe was born in Uraguay on October 11, 1979 and moved to New York when he was four years old. Gabe is a vegetarian, an active PETA member, and is currently dating fashion designer, Erin Fetherston.

In 2011, Gabe and the rest of the Cobra Starship band appeared on Season 4, Episode 5 of 90210, ‘Rock the Vote’,  and performed their new song, #1night.

Gabe also made an appearance on Season 5, Episode 24 of his favourite TV show, Gossip Girl, where he played a drug-addict named Zeke.

“Love ‘em!” That’s the first thing I said when I ripped open the courier package to find BARUP, the latest collection of men’s underwear for Fall 2012.

Available in trunk and brief styles, the four differernt colour combinations are striking. The boldest, and my personal favourite combination is the bright red and electric blue. They’ll leave you feeling wild and sexy!

The 1.5” waistband has a brand new design. The designers have used classic stars and the kangaroo to play up their Australian designed and manufactured symbolism. The aussieBum logo appears front-and-centre in vivid blue against the red and white band.

BARUP is made from 89% Pima cotton and 11% elastane. Although they are extremely well made with quality materials and workmanship, for longest life, wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang dry.

Overall, they are extrmely comfortable and can be worn for a full day or for a night out with the boys. As with most of the aussieBum cuts, the trunk is the most comfortable fitting; I find the briefs feel awkward after a few hours.

Decked out in a black T-shirt, Diesel jeans, studded belt and a pair of leather wristbands, Jordan Knight strutted on stage at Venue Nightclub in Vancouver on Saturday, October 20, 2012, to a crowd of adoring fans.

For almost three decades, pop singer, Jordan Knight, has been gracing stages around the world; his biggest success coming from his days with his past boy band, New Kids on the Block. These days Jordan is on tour promoting his solo career. His most recent tour just wrapped up this past week in Western Canada.

Jordan has a strong stage presence reminiscent of his past pop-star days. He still performs and acts just like when he was on stage when he was at the peak of his career, only now at a much slower pace.

It was unclear what filled the room more, the chardonnay drinking cougars that couldn’t get enough of the aging boy-band singer, or Jordan’s huge ego as he posed on stage between songs, commanding attention. Either way, it was entertaining to be a part of the frenzy with his obsessive fans.

Making full use of the stage and engaging his fans throughout the performance, he knew all the tricks to getting the crowds attention. When he walked out on stage in a tank top, it was evident he is a regular at the gym and spends a lot of time focusing on his upper body. Just by looking at his silhouette, you could easily see he was hiding a six-pack underneath his shirt. It didn’t seem to matter to the women in the crowd either because they still screamed for him to take it off. To everyone’s dismay, he did not entertain their request; instead he just smiled and winked.

One of the Jordan Knight back-up dancers wore a pair of well-worn Calvin Klein underwear.

The back-up dancers, who were old enough to have been Jordan’s original back-up dancers when he first started his pop career, were as predictable and as cookie-cutter as could be expected. Like Jordan, they were moving at a much slower pace as they tried to keep up with the music. They had all the classic back-up dancer moves down as their carefully choreographed performance moved to the music.

Now in his early 40’s, Jordan Knight needs to admit his boy band days are over and realize it’s time for him to evolve his career and embrace the image as a talented middle-aged pop singer.

Jordan’s voice continues to be strong and powerful. If he plays his cards right, he could easily sustain a long and successful music career, pumping out new songs to hit the music charts.

Canadian fashion designer, Ryan McKillop, has been revolutionizing the way men wear underwear. McKillop’s designs are based on hand craftsmanship and ergonomic cuts and styles available on the market today.

“WinterPRIDE guests can expect a few little surprises in their welcome bags upon arrival, so everyone can experience McKillop U/W,” McKillop added.

From the moment they arrive in the mail, you just want to rip the box open. It’s the new Nashville trunks by Montreal underwear designer, Dylan Ribkoff.

When you pull them out of the box you instantly notice the soft fabric. They’re made from 93% cotton and 7% spandex. Cotton is nice because it’s a natural fiber and it’s a comfortable material we love to feel against our body.

The waistband is the show-stopper here. The 1 ¾” metallic silver waistband has the Dylan Ribkoff logo stitched in hot pink. The silver totally pops against the sherbert green fabric.

There is not a lot of room in the pouch area. This isn’t much of a problem if you like your junk to show, especially when you get a bit excited. The pouch is framed by white piping and had a punch of pink from the double-layer fly opening. There’s tasteful white flatlock along the back, adding structure to the underwear.

Sadly, because these are cotton underwear, the bold colour will fade and they will loose their shape over time. So enjoy them and follow the washing instructions so they last as long as possible.

The most popular style in the Saxx Underwear 2012 line-up is the Pro Elite boxer briefs. The classic mid-length underwear is all about function and performance for guys on the go.

Comfort wise, they aren’t made to be worn all day at the office, or going out for a night on the town. The function over fashion underwear are ideal if you’re running, at the gym or playing soccer with the guys, and are a big step above other athletic brands like Under Armour.

The new LeBarcelone can be summed up pretty easily; they are a tricked out pair of tighty-whities! No, these certainly aren’t the briefs your dad would wear, these underwear have style. Here’s why.

What’s to love about these underwear is the bold 1 3/4” red waistband with the contrasting white stitched Dylan Ribkoff logo spanning the front. From the back, the waistband cheekishly says in white stitching ‘What’s Underneath’ on both the left and right sides. The trim is nicely hidden with matching red thread.

These underwear are made with traditional men’s cotton underwear fabric made of 93% cotton and 7% spandex. Over time, they will fade and stretch from washing and wearing. The back is a solid piece of fabric, so unless you have been doing your Jane Fonda’s and have a tight ass, miracles won’t be worked here.

The legs are nicely finished with white trim and white threading, which keeps them snug and in place throughout the day. The double-layed pouch isn’t overly generous in size, which works to your advantage if you’re well-equipped and want to show off your package. The pouch is framed with white flatlock stitching, bringing focus to the area.

Even though summer is coming to a close, Canadian men’s underwear designer and maker, PUMP!, is at it again, releasing the hot new College Boy 21 boxer.

College Boy is a varsity style boxer that has a sporty cut, a rubberized ‘21’ and faux-mesh stripes. The square-cut boxer will bring out the jock in anyone. The red, white and blue collegiate colours are bold and sexy.

As with the entire PUMP! collection, the 1.25” waistband has the large silver PUMP! logo across the front and the smaller PUMP! logo on the back, this time on the left. The metallic waistband  also had a silver strip, adding to the athletic theme.

The contoured front pouch is double-layered and blue piping and cross-stitching highlights and accentuates the area. The pouch also features a false vertical fly.

The right front hip features a red reverse ‘21’ on a white rubber oval. The PUMP! logo is also splashed across the backside using the signature white rubber.

The underwear is made from 96% cotton and 4% spandex, giving them a soft, comfortable, form-fitting fit. They are comfortable enough to wear all day; and the cotton is easy breathing.

Machine wash warm, only non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry on low head. Cool iron if needed (avoiding rubber areas). Wash with bright or white colors separately.

Pump! underwear tends to fit small; consider purchasing one size larger than you normally wear.
